You've had the normal kids birthday parties. You know, the ones with the Winnie The Pooh or Sponge Bob cake and party favors. These are great kids birthday parties but if your child is a little older it may be time for something new. How about a kids birthday party that focuses on something a little more lasting?
Take the kids birthday party to a care facility. Talk to the director of the care facility first to see if you can bring refreshments to the residents. Have each child make a card for a resident and bring a gift that can be given to someone living in the facility. Plan a game or two like Bingo that can be played by everyone at the party.
Have a kids birthday party that involves bringing gifts for children who are living in a shelter or city mission. Many children have so many toys and games and this would be a good way to set an example of helping others less fortunate.
You can plan kids birthday parties at the zoo. This is an awesome way for the kids to have fun and they can bring money to help sponsor an animal. This money will provide the food the other things an animal needs for several months or a year.
Focus on exercise and being healthy when you have kids birthday parties at a kids gym. The parties are fun and children will have a chance to participate in activities that are age appropriate. It's a good way to introduce your child to a facility that promotes exercise and fitness.
This year, think out of the box when planning kids birthday parties!
