You will want to make it fun. There are all kinds of activities you can plan that involve kids, fun and physical activity. Gather jump ropes, balls and water balloons for an afternoon filled with games. Host a bike rodeo or load up all the kids for a morning at the park.
Get other parents involved in the children's fitness group. You do not need to take on all the responsibility yourself and there are several reasons that it will be good to call on other parents. Shared responsibility, new ideas and time constraints are just a few.
Check out the possibility of having the children's fitness group take place at a kids gym. This is one of the easiest ways to get your kids involved in exercise and also one of the most enjoyable. Kids have a wonderful time at the gym and all the activities are planned, taught and monitored by professional staff members. If you go this route, parents only need to take turns driving.
