Many parents want their kids to do well in school, be involved in activities and be healthy. Sometimes it can seem like an overwhelming task when you are trying to accomplish all of these goals.

There is good news for parents who are interested in kid's fitness. It can be very easy to work kid's fitness into your daily routine without much extra effort.

Here are some kid's fitness tips to help you get started:

Kid's fitness tip #1: Make a habit of walking whenever possible. Park the car at the end of the parking lot instead of next to the door. Take the steps instead of the elevator or escalator.

Kid's fitness tip #2: Have the kids help with household chores. They won’t even know they are exercising when they sweep the kitchen floor, run the vacuum cleaner or pick up the family room. When the kids help wash the windows or the car, rake the leaves or pick up sticks before a parent mows they are exercising.

Kid's fitness tip #3: Cut out an hour a week of television and exercise as a family. There are all kinds of things you can do as a family that will get everyone moving and having fun together.

Kid's fitness tips #4: Have each family member choose two fitness activities that they would enjoy doing. Every family member writes down these two activities on separate pieces of paper. Put these choices in a jar and every time you are ready to exercise together as a family, choose one.

Kid's fitness tips #5: Visit a kid's gym in your area. Find out all the exercise opportunities that are available and consider a membership.

Use these kid's fitness tips when you need a few new ideas.
