When you have children, it seems as if your day continually gets busier and busier. There is the hustle and bustle of getting the kids off to school, going to work, coming home and preparing meals. Then you must help with home work, and before you know it, off to bed again just to start the day again with the same routine. With your bust life schedule, often times it is east to crowd out mommy and me time with your children. This is something that should never be neglected.

Mommy and me time is quality time that you spend with your child. Quality time means spending time doing activities that are meaningful to both you and the child. The activities do not have to be costly. Mommy and me time is priceless. It can be a time when you and your child just sits down together and talks, do each others hair, or even play board games together. Which ever route you choose, it can be a very satisfying and enjoyable experience.

The reason for mommy and me time is to instill morals and life concepts. It is all apart of parenting. Private time with your child helps facilitate their communication skills, allows them to express their thoughts, and help them to understand non verbal cues. Mommy and me time also allows the child to see how valuable they are to you. The fact that you are willing and ready to spend time with your children will mean a lot to them. This will also her them to build positive self esteem about themselves. What better gift to you to know that your child is improving and cares about their life just because you encouraged mommy and me time.
