A child's birthday party evokes memories of childhood that last a lifetime. Parents can provide lasting memories for their children and their children's friends by planning a special birthday party including, games, food, activities, and most of all, fun.

Children's party activities are fun and exciting for children of all ages. Party activities for children can center around traditional party games, sporting events, craft projects, or whatever is of interest to children of a particular age group. Be sure to plan many birthday party activities so if a particular activity isn't going over very well, another party activity can take its place.

Depending on the age group, keep in mind that children don't often have lengthy attention spans, especially during the excitement of a birthday party. Be sure to plan plenty of fun birthday party activities that will hold the interest of all party attendants. Children won't always sit still for lengthy movies or other time-consuming activities, especially when in the company of friends. Keep the party exciting by hosting shorter activities that are faced- paced and fun.

Children's birthday party prizes and goodie bags should be equal in content and value so all children in attendance leave the party feeling good about themselves as well as their party going experience. Children's parties are for having fun while celebrating a special birthday, so party games for children should never make any child feel like a loser. Make it clear before, during, and after party games and activities that all children attending are in fact winners.
