When the weather is nice get the whole family outside and working on a project that combines children's fitness and family fun.

One children's fitness activity for families is to build a tree house or fort. This project will involve the family working together and the result will be a step toward children's fitness.

The entire family can take part in this children's fitness project. The plans can be made by the whole family and everyone can work together to get the fort or tree house built.

This is a great children's fitness project because each person can be physically active while building the tree house or fort and can continue being active when the project is completed.

A tree house or fort is a good way to get the kids outside where they can climb, jump and swing. Children's fitness at it's best!

Another idea for children's fitness that involves the great outdoors and the whole family is the planning of a miniature golf course. Family members can work together to plan the course and then put the whole thing together. The holes can be fun and challenging. Think about children's fitness while planning some of the holes. Design holes using old pieces of wood, game parts and other things sitting around the garage. This a fun family project that promotes children's fitness and requires the kids to spend time outside.

One more children's fitness activity that can benefit your family and others in your neighborhood is to invite everyone over for backyard games. There are many suggestions online that can help you plan these children's fitness games.

Have fun, involve everyone in your family and achieve children's fitness all at the same time!
