Tiny Tykes
Tiny Tykes
As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs. Our Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this 45-minute program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our Tiny Tykes discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.

Waddlers
Waddlers
This stimulating 1-hour program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements. At this age, a child’s level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs. Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide our Waddlers in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.

Gymsters
Gymsters
The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running, jumping on two feet, and an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2 1/2-year-olds' attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time. During this 1-hour program, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have 'Surprise Time!' Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

Terrific Tots
Terrific Tots
In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating adventures and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills. The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like 'big kids.' In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. During this 1-hour program, the development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

Mighty Mites
Mighty Mites
With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3-year-olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this 1-hour program.

Whiz Kids
Whiz Kids
These children are now ready to refine and master basic gross motor skills such as running, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, kicking and catching. Designed to prepare a child for group sports and instill a sense of confidence in connection with physical activity, our Whiz Kids program emphasizes each of these important skills. The children build strength, balance, agility, flexibility and coordination in this 1-hour program, as our instructors maintain a positive, supportive and noncompetitive atmosphere. Our Whiz Kids are showered with praise as they develop perseverance and self-control.

Champions
Champions
This is the first age group at My Gym where perfecting form and mastering sports and gymnastic skills become priorities. During this 1-hour program, the children learn to work hard and aim toward a goal. As with all our older classes, the Champions program is fast-paced and completely structured with organized ingredients throughout the hour. Many of our Champions are involved in organized sports in parks and schools or study dance or martial arts. This class introduces a wide range of physical skills and cooperative group activities in preparation for these outside activities. We emphasize effort, diligence and a spirit of camaraderie, as our Champions are taught the meaning of fair play and teamwork.

Cardio Kids
Cardio Kids
My Gym has created a program that combines a cardio workout with strength and flexibility exercises for children who are now at the age when they are surrounded by the sedentary distractions of TV, the Internet and video games. Endurance, sports and gross motor skills are increased through a series of exciting and dynamic activities. As we focus on specific muscle groups, utilize a 4-station circuit-training course, and add fun nutritional tips, our goal in this 1-hour program is to instill health and fitness as a way of life. All children, regardless of their athletic abilities, will benefit greatly from My Gym's Cardio Kids program.

Staff Meeting, Gym Set, and Programming
Staff Meeting, Gym Set, and Programming
My Gym utilizes this time to do our weekly "Spring cleaning." Although we clean the gym several times a day and every morning and night, we do like to scrub those hard to reach spots on a weekly basis. We also use this time to completely rearrange the gym and create new things to climb on, jump on, slide on, and have a great time on. The last element of our staff meeting is discussion and training based upon the last weeks events as well as our programming for the upcoming week. This is our time to make sure we shine!

Awesome Birthday Parties
Awesome Birthday Parties
At My Gym we make sure that your child is the star of the party and is the focus of the entire day. During a typical 1 1/2 hour party we may do age-appropriate instructor led games, relays, rides, songs, dances, and much more. Space Flight is a part of every party. Space flight is a zip line that runs through the gym and is more than 40’ long. It is definitely a fan favorite. We also do a special Birthday March to help accentuate the fact that the day is a special celebration for your child. We only have ONE party at a time which means you get exclusive use of the entire gym including our state of the art equipment, our swing support system and all the great games, rides, and swings that we can hook up to it. We take care of all the entertainment, setup, cleanup, gathering of presents, and serving of the food. We also provide invitations and thank you cards at no additional cost. All you need to do is bring the kids and the food (we provide Mott's juice boxes)!
