Jackie Steinmetz - Owner and Lead Teacher
I am excited and proud to be the new owner of My Gym Kent!! I have worked as the Director of My Gym Kent/Covington for over 2 years, getting to know and love the families in the area. Over the last 6 months, I have been working for My Gym Enterprises as a Support Specialist. I have been traveling to My Gym's around the country helping them become established in their communities. As much as I love meeting new people, there's no place like home and I am happy to be at My Gym Kent!!
I have a degree in Education and 3 years experience with My Gym! When I am not at My Gym, I love to hang out with my husband Kenny, dog Mocha and all my friends! Thanks for having me as a part of your life and supporting fitness in the lives of your children.

Julie Fain - LEAD INSTRUCTOR
My name is Julie and I am the only original member left of the My Gym Kent opening team. I have come and gone a few times, but my love for the gym and what it brings to the lives of children always brings me back. I have been working with children my entire employed life. After babysitting through my teen years, I thought I wanted to be a teacher. I later decided it wasn’t that I wanted to teach, but that I still wanted to play. All of my summers as a camp counselor solidified my decision, so I went to WSU where I majored in Recreation Administration and minored in Sociology. After school I did my internship with the City of Kent, working with youth and teens. When I couldn’t find a job in parks and rec, I went to work for The Children’s Place as an assistant manager. After being promoted to a store manager, I was recruited to work for Club Libby Lu followed by the Picture People. While at the Picture People I married my husband Brian and had my son Lucas. After Lucas was born I wanted to find something that didn’t consume my life and My Gym became that place. A little over 2 and a half years have passed and we now have a daughter, Carly, who was born in August of 2009. I don’t work nearly as much as I used to, but I love the gym and I am happy to do what I can.
