Dion - Manager
Hey everybody! My name's Dion.
A few things about me:
- I'm a breakdancer with over 4 years of shows/competitions/jams/battles/events.
- I love the outdoors - I go tramping regularly, love swimming and rock climbing.
- I'm a Visual Arts & Film Graduate - I love to Rotoscope, edit and animate.
Why I love my job:
- The kids! Seeing them grow and develop, their personalities and some of the things the say!
- It's a great environment with knowledgeable and supportive staff
- It keeps me moving. Way better than a desk job!

James - Lead Teacher / Party Guru
Hey everyone, my name's James!
A bit about myself:
- My passion is acting and theatre
- I produce and direct my own shows at Auckland University, this year I directed Shakespeare's McBeth!
- I've acted as heaps of different characters, some of my faves have been: Captain Hook, Pharoah, Bill Sykes, Hamlet and 'Baroness Claustrophobia Hardup-Jolly Bottom'.
Why I love my job:
- I've been here since 2007 and love to see the kids grow and increase confidence
- At the same time I get to act like im 5 year old again and dress up!
- When the kids should my name I feel like a rockstar, AWESOME!!
When I'm not at My Gym you can find me..."in a theatre wearing a silly costume!"

- I love music and dance.
- I am part of the triple 8 funk dance company
- I love to eat T-bone steaks - YUM!!!
Why I love my job:
- Everyday is something new
- Everytime the kids smile it reiterates why you're doing what you're doing.
- The kids go home and say I want to come back to My Gym to see Summer!

Hi everybody! My name's Krista.
A bit about myself:
- I love languages! I have a Bachelor in Linguistics and I know sign language.
Why I love my job:
- The kids of course! Working with them is a sure way to put a smile on anyone's face.
- It's active, fun, keeps you on your toes and we do something different every week!
- It's rewarding after watching and helping the kids accomplish something.
