Tiny Tykes
Tiny Tykes
As the babies gain hand, arm and trunk control and become mobile, we introduce new and stimulating activities. Our experienced teachers are sensitive to the strong emotional attachment these little ones are developing with their mothers, and each parent/child unit is nurtured according to their specific needs. Our Tiny Tykes and their parents are led through a variety of beginning stretches, exercises, infant songs and dances, baby-safe rides and adventures, balance and agility skills, and introductory tumbling during this 45-minute program. A relationship to movement and physical activity begins to develop, as our Tiny Tykes discover their natural abilities and enhance their physical and cognitive development.

Tiny Tyke / Waddler
Tiny Tyke / Waddler
This combination class combines both the Tiny Tykes of 7 to 13 months with the slightly older Waddlers of 14-22 months. It's a great opportunity for the younger ones who may not yet be walking to see other children their size and age moving around in different ways. The program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which helps the babies and children develop a love of physical activity and a sense of pride in their achievements.
At this age, a child’s level of independent mobility will typically progress from aggressive crawling to running. Additional fine and gross motor skills developed during this stage include kicking a ball, building a block tower, riding a tricycle, and walking up stairs. Our highly trained instructors shower the children with affection, as they guide the children in early social skills through interactive songs, choreographed dances, age-specific puppet shows, special rides, and a variety of swings and other original activities.

Gymsters
Gymsters
The gross motor abilities of early 2-year-olds are often characterized by more confident running, jumping on two feet, and an overall improved spatial awareness of their bodies. This is the earliest age group with which we work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, as the 2 to 2 1/2-year-olds' attention span grows, allowing the child to focus for longer periods of time. During this 1-hour program, the youngsters are elated as they sing, dance, swing, play games, watch puppet shows, take turns on special rides, and have 'Surprise Time!' Our Gymsters feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week.

Gymster / Terrific Tot
Gymster / Terrific Tot
Another one of our combination classes, this broad age range is great for really starting to teach the children some physical tumbling skills as well as fine & gross motor control. They feel great about themselves as they learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups each week. In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating adventures and pre-gymnastics, in this class we begin to have the children interact more directly with the teachers. The children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like 'big kids'. During this 1-hour program, the development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

Terrific Tots
Terrific Tots
In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating adventures and pre-gymnastics, our Terrific Tots learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills. The youngsters become more independent as teachers are now interacting more directly with them. Parental involvement is gradually decreased through inviting activities with love and understanding, and the children exude pride and self-esteem as they are treated like 'big kids.' In this age group, teaching physical skills is a top priority. During this 1-hour program, the development of social skills is also emphasized, as the youngsters become good listeners, follow directions, cooperate in a group, and learn more about themselves.

Terrific Tot / Mighty Mite
Terrific Tot / Mighty Mite
This combination class is great for children who are ready to do the older Mighty Mite program, but may not be ready to separate from their grown-up quite yet. Parents can gradually step back & watch more and more, as your child gains more confidence and starts doing the entire class by themself with the other children. In the Mighty Mite program following directions is reinforced while strength, flexibility, and agility are increased. Our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communicate through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, children this age are nurtured with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination.

Mighty Mites
With greater independence comes the ability to participate without the parent, and our Mighty Mites are lavished with positive reinforcement for self-reliance and following directions. Strength, flexibility, and agility are increased, as our teachers introduce gymnastic skills with the safest spotting techniques and communication through language geared to build self-esteem and confidence. Sensitive to peer pressure, these 3-year-olds are nurtured so tenderly and always with a success-oriented approach. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced manipulative ability, and improved hand-eye coordination during this 1-hour program.

Mighty Mite / Whiz Kid
Mighty Mite / Whiz Kid
This combination class focuses on combining the best elements of our Mighty Mite program with the most appropriate parts from our Whiz Kids. All depending on the specific class, our instructors will gauge what will have the best level of challenge for all the children. Relays, more complex games, and beginning sports skills are used to increase strength, enhance manipulative ability, and improve hand-eye coordination - all while instructors maintain a positive, supportive and noncompetitive atmosphere. Children are showered with praise as they develop perseverance and self-control.

Champions
Champions
This is the first age group at My Gym where perfecting form and mastering sports and gymnastic skills become priorities. During this 1-hour program, the children learn to work hard and aim toward a goal. As with all our older classes, the Champions program is fast-paced and completely structured with organized ingredients throughout the hour. Many of our Champions are involved in organized sports in parks and schools or study dance or martial arts. This class introduces a wide range of physical skills and cooperative group activities in preparation for these outside activities. We emphasize effort, diligence and a spirit of camaraderie, as our Champions are taught the meaning of fair play and teamwork.

Sibling Class
Sibling Class
Parents, bring them all to this class designed to challenge multiple age groups! We recommend your youngest sibling be walking - your time will be spent with them guiding them through all the activities in the class. Meanwhile, your older child (or children!) can be more independent in the class, and challenged appropriately with more complex games and skills.
